The oxidative stress mechanism in the body involves balance between increased ROS and decreased antioxidant agents. can damage DNA, proteins, lipids, leading to pathology impaired insulin secretion by dysregulation of several genes expression. High concentrations are often followed a low activity antioxidants from endogenous sources. As result, exogenous required neutralize ROS. reported, medicinal plants, which have had various traditional applications, contain large amounts secondary metabolites, proven be Jamu , medicine, also known as an alternative medication, widely easily found markets. Antidiabetic herbal products among most popular jamu . has strong relationship with roles many biological systems. aim this research was figure out potential antidiabetic products. Eight samples were analyzed for their measuring DPPH radical scavenging activity, phosphomolybdenum FRAP, well total phenolic flavonoid contents. Good linearity general finding quantitative analysis, average correlation coefficient 0.999 standards. highest content 8.66 ± 0.11 mgQE/g, 22.66 0.15 mgGAE/g. With regard all demonstrated weak while FRAP at 48.58 0.45 mgQE/g extract 226.98 0.19 extract, respectively. These results indicated that claimed could prepared sources, irrespective being or without diabetes treatment.
